The wedding will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Casa das Canoas, which sits high above the beach of São Conrado and beneath the Gavea Rock, one of Rio's natural landmarks. This promises to give us a nice breeze and some beautiful views of Rio's nature.
Dress code is black tie optional.
Ceremony
8:00pm – 9:00pm
Father Vinicius from St. Fatima's Monastery
will preside over the ceremonies.
reception
9:00pm – 10:00pm
Cocktails and hors d'oerves will be served.
Concludes with the ceremonial cutting of the cake
and the couple's first dance.

Getting to Casa Das Canoas

Shuttle transportation will be provided for guests to and from the Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel & Resort. Pick up for the wedding will occur at 7:00pm in the evening and shuttles back will commence every half hour beginning at 1am. A sign up list will be circulated ahead of the wedding.
Uber BLACK
Uber Black is a safe and reliable mode of transportation within Rio. Please make sure you pick a driver that speaks English in the app. Uber Black is a good option for getting to the wedding on your own. If you plan to leave the wedding after 1am, we recommend you take the shuttle to the Sheraton or book a private car.

Most hotels in Rio offer private car services. A private hotel driver is marginally more expensive than Uber but very reliable. For those who chose not to take the guest shuttle, we recommend booking a private car if you plan to leave the wedding after 1am. A list of recommended car services will be circulated.
